The Platinum masts are North Sails' most individual and powerful product line. From 370 to 430 the focus is on wave and freestyle riding, while from 460 upwards the design is race-oriented.

These masts are manufactured with aerospace prepreg autoclave technology, which is the most precise and high-tech process in existence. Ten tons of pressure creates an extremely homogenous mix of carbon and resin, and reduces the resin content to a minimum. This results in an incredible flex response and a super durable mast. The white surface coating minimizes the effects of heating due to solar radiation, and avoids thermal overstress.
