The Super Sports are slalom-oriented bullets with great planing and maneuvering characteristics. The 2008 boards set the standard in the sporty-freeride class with their innovative width to volume ratio. This concept was originally developed for the JP slalom boards and has made the Super Sports come out on top in the performance criteria in every international magazine test.

For the new 2009 line, this concept was refined and easy handling in overpowered conditions was improved.

Most performance oriented riders think in board width and not so much in volume classes anymore. That is why JP named Super Sports after their width.

What's New

A slightly fuller rail adds volume to the board and allowed to reduce the thickness around the center. The lower mast base position tremendously improved the top end control. This new rail shape also makes the stance much more comfortable.

Additional buoyancy from the fuller rails improved the light wind performance.

Combined with slightly longer board lengths in the bigger sizes, the Super Sport boards are early planing aces.

The more parallel outline in the midsection has given the boards superior straight-line control and a lower nose rocker prevents the boards from being lifted at high speed.

Additional outline curve between the footstraps allows the rider to master high speed carving jibes. Even during tight turns, the boards maintain good grip and momentum - allowing you to comfortably accelerate out of every jibe.

These are super fast freeride boards with an aggressive, electric feel and breathtaking acceleration – also in light winds. Now with more top-end control and further improved carving abilities.
